Join us on Thursday, February 7th at 4pm as we partner with Wildlife in Crisis to release a rehabilitated Red-Tailed Hawk and Barred Owl at the Still Pond Preserve.

This Red-tailed hawk was hit by a car and suffered head trauma and a wing fracture. After several months of healing at Wildlife in Crisis and time spent on a large aviary, he is ready for release.

This barred owl was also struck by a car and suffered head trauma and a fractured coracoid. After several months of intensive clinic care at Wildlife in Crisis, he was moved to an outdoor aviary where he spent time rebuilding flight muscles and coordination necessary for release.
We will meet at the NCLT trailhead on Cedar Lane, across from house 161. This event is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
