In consideration of the Town of New Canaan’s recent order to close town parks, all New Canaan Land Trust preserves are closed until further notice.
Please understand that we did not make this decision lightly. We know that, for many, a walk through the woods was a helpful way to escape the chaos that has consumed our lives. We will be monitoring this situation closely, and will make every effort to re-open our preserves when we feel it safe to do so.
Our board and staff will be exploring ways of bringing nature to your home through photo essays, live streaming videos, and more. We’ll be posting this content on our website and social media accounts, and encourage you to follow us.
We appreciate your adherence to this closure, and understanding that this decision was made in the best interest of our community.
