Location: Colhoun Preserve Explore Colhoun Preserve with Robin Bates-Mason, and learn about its history and NCLT’s ongoing woodland restoration project. As part of this effort, NCLT has been working throughout the summer with Chris Rizzo, a master’s candidate at the Yale School of the Environment, to develop a plan to help save the preserve’s majestic American Beech trees threatened by Beech Leaf Disease and to restore a diverse native woodland where beech trees cannot be saved. Learn more about the challenges facing Colhoun’s forest and the steps NCLT is taking to ensure its health and resilience for the future.
