Nancy and her husband John moved to New Canaan in 2001 and raised their two children here. She earned a B.S. in Communications from Emerson College, and spent over 20 years as a senior sales and marketing executive with Westinghouse, E! TV, and AMC Networks. She has served on the boards of the Newcomer’s Club and The New Canaan Outback. She currently serves on three committees for the New Canaan Community Foundation and the board of the New Canaan Garden Club. Nancy first became acquainted with NCLT while her son was completing his Eagle Scout project on the Watson-Symington Woodlands. She grew up exploring the State forests and preserves of her hometown, Glastonbury, CT, and learned to appreciate and identify many of the state’s indigenous trees, plants and geology. An avid gardener, she looks forward to continuing her love of native plants and the outdoors through her work with the NCLT.
