Walk Your Land Trust Series (Outing #2 – Norwalk)

FreeLand trusts from Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, and Wilton have teamed up to bring you the first-ever Walk Your Land Trust series. Beginning in March 2022, each land trust will host an outing to introduce visitors to their preserves. We look forward to learning from each other, exploring our region’s open space, and making new connections.
This month’s walk will feature a tour of the Norwalk Land Trust’s Farm Creek Preserve, and an introduction to Shinrin-Yoku, also known as forest bathing. The walk will be led by Norwalk Land Trust board member, Bill Wren.
Registration is required.
Series Schedule
Walk #1: Tuesday, March 15 at 12pm, at New Canaan Land Trust’s Still Pond Preserve.
Walk #2: Friday, April 29 at 10am, at the Norwalk Land Trust’s Farm Creek Preserve. Theme: forest bathing
Walk #3: Saturday, May 7 at 10am, at the Stamford Land Trust’s Altschul Preserve. Theme: mushroom foraging
Walk #4: Sunday, June 18 at 10am, at the Darien Land Trust’s Dunlap Woods.
Walk #5: TBD with the Wilton Land Conservation Trust.
