NOLS Wilderness First Aid Course

New Canaan Land Trust and the New Canaan YMCA have teamed up to co-sponsor a National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course. NOLS is a nonprofit global wilderness school that believes in the transformative power of leadership through wilderness education. Designed for hikers, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who spends time in nature, this nationally recognized, hands-on course teaches essential first aid skills, patient assessment, and evacuation decision-making through classroom instruction and realistic outdoor scenarios.
