Ainsley Hayes

A resident of New Canaan since 2008, Ainsley is a native of Wellesley, Massachusetts, and a graduate of the Winsor School in Boston and the University of Vermont, where she is a past member of the Board of Trustees. She and her husband, Brendan Hayes, lived for 6 years in Manhattan before returning to their native New England to raise their family. Ainsley has volunteered in the schools, her church, and just completed six years serving on the New Canaan Nature Center Board. Ainsley and Brendan have three boys.

Ainsley works as an interior designer. She started ‘Ainsley Design’ in 2003 and currently manages residential projects ranging from New Canaan to Manhattan, and beyond. Personally, Ainsley and her husband have renovated their 1820’s farmhouse and have restored the neighboring Ponus Ridge Chapel at 424 Ponus Ridge.

Ainsley enjoys gardening, hiking, snow and water skiing, and spending time on Lake Winnipesaukee, in New Hampshire. She is also a current member of The Congregational Church, The New Canaan Winter Club and The New Canaan Gardeners.
