Ainsley Hayes
Ainsley and her husband lived for 6 years in Manhattan before settling in New Canaan in 2008 to raise their family. Ainsley is a graduate of the Winsor School in Boston and the University of Vermont, where she majored in History and Political Science with a minor in Design. Ainsley is a past member of the UVM Board of Trustees, and the New Canaan Nature Center Board. She is a member of The Congregational Church, The New Canaan Winter Club and The New Canaan Gardeners.
Ainsley founded ‘Ainsley Design’ in 2003 and currently manages residential interior projects in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. Personally, Ainsley and her husband have renovated their 1820’s farmhouse and have restored the neighboring Ponus Ridge Chapel, with a firm believe that our natural landscapes as well as our buildings convey the story of our collective history.
Ainsley enjoys gardening, watching her kids play sports, hiking, and spending time in New Canaan’s natural landscape, and on Lake Winnipesaukee, in New Hampshire.
