Michelle Riley has been active in New Canaan organizations for over ten years. She is a past board president of New Canaan CARES, and has chaired various events and been on many committees at the New Canaan Library, New Canaan Community Foundation, St. Luke’s School, the New Canaan Public Schools, National Charity League, Service League of Boys and Boy Scouts of America.
Her interest in the New Canaan Land Trust emerged following her son’s serving as a summer intern and having him walk her through the incredible properties. She currently sits on the events committee at the NCLT and looks forward to continuing to bring awareness and support for the organization to the local community.
Michelle earned a Masters and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. She taught high school English and Social Studies in Pennsylvania and California. She is a member of St Aloysius Church, Woodway Country Club, and the New Canaan Field Club and is a substitute teacher for NCPS and St Lukes.
