Michelle Riley
Since relocating to New Canaan in 2012 with her husband, Rich, and their four children, Michelle Riley has been actively involved in many local organizations. She currently sits on the boards of the New Canaan Community Foundation and the New Canaan Library and is a past board president of New Canaan CARES. In addition, she has chaired various events and has been on many committees for St Luke’s School, the New Canaan Public Schools, the National Charity League, the Service League of Boys, and the Boy Scouts of America.
Her interest in the New Canaan Land Trust emerged after her son served as a summer steward and had him walk her through the incredible properties. She currently sits on the events committee at the NCLT and the capital campaign subcommittee under development. She is excited to help bring awareness and support for this organization to the community.
Michelle earned a Masters and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. She taught high school English and Social Studies in Pennsylvania and California and continues to stay connected to the local schools by substitute teaching. She is a member of St Aloysius Church, Woodway Country Club, and the New Canaan Field Club.
