John Fusek
John has lived in New Canaan for over 20 years and recently rejoined the Land Trust board after serving from 2012 to 2018. John is the co-founder of Global Credit Advisers, a New York-based investment advisory firm, and has spent most of his career in the financial services industry, including 17 years at Goldman Sachs, where he oversaw the firm’s European Credit Research Group. Prior to his career on Wall Street, John worked at NASA developing orbital communications and telemetry systems for the space shuttle program.
John enjoys the outdoors, as well as traveling and playing tennis. He is a board member of the New Canaan Conservation Commission serves on the Advisory Council at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is past Chairman of the Investment Committee at the New Canaan Congregational Church. John holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. John grew up breaking glass, lighting small fires, and enjoying endless adventures on the reservoir property behind his childhood home.
