Kelly Flannery, Summer Programs Coordinator

Kelly is thrilled to join NCLT as the 2019 Summer Programs Coordinator, and to oversee the NCHS and Summer Steward internship programs. Kelly grew up in Putnam County, NY, appreciating all the natural beauty that the Northeastern US has to offer. Kelly knew from an early age that she wanted to pursue an environmental career, and just graduated from UConn where she received a degree in Geoscience and Geography. To further her career, Kelly is working towards a Master of Public Administration, which she hopes to complete in May of 2020. Kelly cares deeply about how people interact with their environment and hopes to bring innovative ideas to this position. Her experience volunteering in both Arches and Canyonlands National Park, along with her past internship with the GROW Windham community garden, makes her confident that she can instill a conservation and environmental stewardship ethic in NCLTs interns.
