Hear highlights from the past year\, updates on headquarters renovations\, and ongoing efforts to protect and steward more than 400 acres of open space\, including 6.5 miles of trails across 10 preserves open to the public. Land Trust members will also vote on the new slate of officers and directors. \nFollowing the meeting\, New Canaan Land Trust is pleased to welcome Michael Goergen\, President and CEO of The American Chestnut Foundation\, for his presentation\, What the American Chestnut Teaches Us About Forest Health. His presentation is particularly timely as the Land Trust is actively working to restore the American chestnut on Land Trust preserves.
